Requirements for Direct Entry Captain

Qualified candidates for the Direct Entry Captain position must possess the following:

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours of Part 121.436 qualifying experience.
  • E175, CL65, or B737 Type Rating preferred.
  • A minimum of 100 hours of flight experience within the previous 12 months preferred.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to demonstrate instrument proficiency.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Must be at least 23 years of age.
  • Possession of a current, valid Passport.
  • Legal ability to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
  • Ability to successfully pass a security background check and FAA-mandated drug test.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language fluently.
