Job Summary
An Aviation Captain is directly responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and the safety and comfort of passengers. The Pilots transport company officials and/or customers to destinations while adhering to flight plans, regulations, and procedures of the federal government, the company and designated airport.
Required Qualifications

2+ years of college or Associate Degree
-
8 years of Pilot experience
-
Ability to use various aviation related iPad apps
-
Create and file flight plans
-
Good computer skills with MS Office suite
-
Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
-
Communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Excellent math skills
-
Excellent analytical abilities
-
An Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with an Embraer EMB-145 Type Rating

Excellent customer service to passengers
-
Comprehensive knowledge of the latest developments within the business aviation community, including the FAR’s and other Federal, State, Local and Foreign regulations. affecting operations

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, which include lifting items weighing. 15 – 50 pounds and occasionally in excess of 75 pounds

Specific vision abilities are required by this job include close vision and distance vision
Preferred Qualifications

Four year college degree
-
3,500 hours of flight time in a variety of aircraft
-
1,000 hours and 4+ years of experience in aircraft of the same or similar category, class and type as those operated by McKee Foods
-
Experience flying in a structured crew environment

CE500 Type Rating
