JOB FUNCTION
: Operate the Company aircraft in a safe, efficient manner and in accordance with Aircraft Operations Manuals, FAA, local, state, and international regulations that may apply.
EXAMPLE OF WORK PERFORMED
: Evaluate weather conditions, NOTAMS, TFR’s, airport/FBO services, and any other pertinent information to ensure safe and efficient operations of company aircraft; change flight plans as necessary due to inclement weather; continually assist in maintaining or enhancing the safety the flight crew and passengers; interact with passengers in a professional and courteous manner; ensure passengers are briefed on safety and flight conditions; Utilize accepted Crew Resources Management practices to enhance flight safety and efficiency; effectively establish and maintain working and productive relationships with fellow team members; must be able to work varied hours and in extreme weather; assist passengers with loading and unloading of bags;
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
: FAA Commercial Certificate; Current 2nd Class Medical; minimum flight time: 2,000 hours total time, 1,000 multi-engine, 500 hours PIC (Pilot in Charge); No accidents/incidents/FAA enforcement action; ability to communicate in a upbeat and friendly manner with internal and external customers; providing a positive attitude while working effectively with a team; basic knowledge to operate computer and phone systems; knowledge of employment and safety procedures. This is a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to Random Drug and Alcohol testing.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS
: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment: Indoor climate controlled environment, with the possibility of loading and unloading luggage and doing safety inspections in cold, hot, and/or wet conditions..
