Position Overview
MassMutual’s Aviation Department is seeking a professional, flexible, and team-oriented Corporate Flight Attendant to join our multi-aircraft Part 91 operation. This role is essential to providing a superior level of service, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers throughout their travel experience. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated team of aviation professionals committed to operational excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the flight crew in the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for passenger safety, conducting briefings and explaining safety equipment usage.

Plan and execute premium in-flight catering, including menu planning, shopping, food preparation, and accommodating dietary restrictions or allergies.

Ensure all cabin, galley, and emergency equipment is flight-ready and compliant with FAA regulations.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order within the cabin and baggage areas.

Provide exceptional customer service, managing passenger departure and arrival processes.

Perform emergency safety actions as required and maintain constant communication with the Pilot-in-Command.

Complete all necessary pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.

Actively participate in the Safety Management System.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Flight Attendant with an airline, corporate flight department, or government agency.

High school diploma or GED.

Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.

Current authorization to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.

Current First Aid training, including adult and infant CPR certification.

Ability to maintain a flexible, changing schedule, including late-night flights and short-notice availability (2-hour response time when on standby).

Residency within a 90-minute drivable commute range of BDL.

Physical ability to lift supplies weighing 25 to 30 pounds from floor to waist height repeatedly.
Ideal Qualifications

Understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.

Flight attendant-specific training from Flight Safety, FACTs, or similar institutions (annual recurrent training is required).

Emergency Medical Response (EMR) certification.

Proficiency in culinary arts, wine selection, and menu planning.

Technological competency with computers (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), smartphones, and iPads.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $115,900 – $152,100, supplemented by incentive and bonus opportunities.
