Location: Bradley International Airport (BDL), Windsor Locks, CT

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $115,900 – $152,100

The Opportunity

The MassMutual Aviation Department is seeking a dedicated and professional Corporate Flight Attendant to join a multi-aircraft Part 91 operation based at Bradley International Airport. This role is responsible for delivering superior personal service, ensuring passenger safety, and maintaining comfort throughout all phases of flight. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player committed to supporting the department's strategic goals and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the flight crew in the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations.
  • Provide comprehensive passenger safety briefings and manage the use of safety equipment in accordance with FAA regulations.
  • Notify the Pilot-in-Command immediately regarding any cabin emergency situations.
  • Plan and curate menus, ensuring dietary restrictions and allergies are accommodated; manage catering, shopping, and food preparation.
  • Ensure all galley and cabin equipment is prepared, secure, and maintained for flight.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting passengers and assisting with travel needs.
  • Maintain the aircraft cabin and baggage area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System and remain proficient in all aircraft safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Flight Attendant with an airline, corporate flight department, or government agency.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.
  • Currently authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for future sponsorship.
  • Current First Aid training, including adult and infant CPR certification.
  • Ability to manage a flexible, changing schedule, including late-night flights and short-notice standby (2-hour response time).
  • Must reside within a 90-minute drivable commute of Bradley International Airport (BDL).
  • Ability to lift supplies weighing 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height repeatedly.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Completed flight attendant-specific training (e.g., FlightSafety, FACTs); annual recurrent training is required.
  • Emergency Medical Response (EMR) training.
  • Expertise in culinary arts, menu planning, and food/wine service.
  • Technologically proficient, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), smartphones, and iPads.
