The Opportunity: Human Resources Officer

Marabu Airlines OU is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join its dedicated team in Tallinn, Estonia. This pivotal role supports the airline's strategic objectives by ensuring a robust and engaging work environment for all employees. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing a full spectrum of HR functions specifically tailored to the unique demands of the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various aviation roles, including pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, and administrative personnel, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with Estonian labor laws and the dynamic requirements of the aviation sector.
• Provide expert guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters, fostering positive employee relations and a healthy, productive workplace culture within the airline.
• Oversee performance management cycles, talent development initiatives, and coordinate training programs designed for airline staff to enhance their skills and career progression.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance within the aviation industry landscape.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, contribute to HR reporting, and analyze data to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations pertinent to the aviation sector.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience (minimum of 3 years preferred) as an HR Officer, HR Specialist, or similar role, with a strong preference for candidates experienced within the aviation or transportation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Estonian labor law and best practices in human resources management.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Estonian or other relevant European languages is considered a significant asset.
