First Officer
Reports To: Chief Pilot Line Operations / Manager Fleet
About the Role
The First Officer serves as the Commander's deputy and a vital member of the flight crew, operating in a piloting capacity. This role is instrumental in assisting the Commander with comprehensive flight management and the precise manipulation of aircraft controls as directed, ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly reviews all pertinent aeronautical and meteorological information, along with comprehensive documentation regarding the aircraft's technical status and anticipated loads, prior to flight.
- Actively participates in the execution of normal, abnormal, and emergency cockpit procedures, meticulous checklist completion, and accurate instrument approach protocols.
- Assists the Commander in the diligent compilation of all required post-flight trip documentation.
- Ensures the proper and secure handover of the aircraft to the subsequent crew or appropriate maintenance personnel, or responsibly secures the aircraft when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), complemented by 0-2 years of relevant aviation experience. A minimum age of 18 years is required.
- Holds a minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 certificate. Candidates should also demonstrate 7 years of working experience in an administrative field, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of the aviation sector, particularly in Flight Operations.
Skills & Knowledge
- Successful completion of all related Type Rating courses and associated training.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of company operational procedures and all applicable aviation regulatory requirements.
