First Officer
Position Summary
The First Officer serves as the Commander's deputy, operating as an integral member of the flight crew in a piloting capacity. This role involves actively assisting the Commander in all aspects of flight management and the precise manipulation of aircraft controls, under the Commander's direction, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly reviewing all pertinent aeronautical and meteorological information, alongside detailed documentation regarding the aircraft's technical status and anticipated load, prior to flight.
- Actively participating in the execution of normal, abnormal, and emergency cockpit procedures, diligently completing checklists, and accurately performing instrument approach procedures.
- Assisting the Commander in the accurate compilation and completion of all required flight documentation post-flight.
- Efficiently handing over the aircraft to the subsequent crew or appropriate maintenance personnel, and ensuring the aircraft is properly secured when required.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and all necessary, appropriate type ratings.
- Holds a minimum of ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 Certificate.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Skills & Knowledge
- Successful completion of all relevant aircraft type rating courses and associated training.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of company operational procedures and all applicable aviation regulatory requirements.
