Malaysia Aviation Group is inviting applications for its Cadet Pilot Programme, seeking the next generation of aviators to join its esteemed team. This exceptional opportunity, based in Malaysia, is designed for aspiring pilots who are ready to embark on a comprehensive training journey towards a career in aviation.

The Cadet Pilot Programme offers a unique pathway for individuals without a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Instrument Rating (IR) to receive comprehensive training and become qualified aviators with Malaysia Aviation Group. Successful candidates will undertake rigorous flight and ground school training, preparing them for a dynamic career as a First Officer or pilot within the airline.

Requirements

• Be a Malaysian Citizen, aged between 18 and 32 years old at the time of selection.
• Open to both male and female applicants.
• Possess a minimum height of 158 cm.
• Be medically and physically fit, demonstrating perfect eyesight with a visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aids, correctable to 6/6, and no colour blindness.
• Exhibit proficiency in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Applicants must not possess a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and/or Instrument Rating (IR). This programme is specifically for candidates without prior CPL/IR qualifications.

Qualifications

• For SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent qualification holders recognized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia:
  • A minimum grade of A in Mathematics and English.
  • A minimum grade of A in General Science OR a minimum grade of B in Physics.
  • A Pass in Bahasa Melayu.
  • A minimum grade of B in two (2) other subjects.
  • A minimum of five (5) SPM subjects or equivalent.
• Alternatively, for Diploma or Bachelor Degree holders in Engineering or Science-related disciplines:
  • A minimum CGPA of 3.00.
  • SPM (or its equivalent) with a minimum grade of C in Mathematics, Science or Physics, and English.
  • A Pass in Bahasa Melayu (SPM).
