Professional Single-Engine Commercial Pilot / Safety Officer (Right Seat)
A reputable aviation company specializing in scheduled and charter air services throughout the scenic Bahamas archipelago seeks a highly qualified and professional Commercial Pilot to join its flight operations team. The selected aviator will serve as a crucial member of the flight crew, primarily fulfilling safety officer (right seat) duties and maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and passenger service. This position requires active participation in all aspects of daily flight operations within a dynamic island environment.
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following core duties:
- Actively participate in the detailed preflight planning, preparation, and post-flight procedures for all scheduled and charter flights.
- Execute all assigned right-seat duties as a crucial support and safety officer to the Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Diligently adhere to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidelines.
- Ensure exceptional customer interaction and provide first-class passenger service throughout all phases of the journey.
- Participate consistently in daily flight operations throughout The Bahamas, facilitating reliable air transport services.
Minimum Qualifications and Flight Experience
All candidates must strictly meet the following FAA certification and experience requirements:
- Certifications and Ratings: Must hold a valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single Engine Land (ASEL) endorsement.
- Medical Certification: Possession of a current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Instrument Proficiency: Must hold a current Instrument Rating and maintain full proficiency under FAA Part 61/91 regulations.
- Total Flight Time: A verifiable minimum of 200 hours Total Flight Time is required.
