Mack Air are recruiting Co-Pilots and Captains for their Cessna Grand Caravan 208 EX fleet for their base in Botswana. For this campaign applicants must have Botswana Citizenship. Info from Mack Air.

Description:

Mack Air currently operates the newest fleet of ANY airline on the African continent, with an average aircraft age of fewer than five years and is also the largest operator of Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft on the continent. Mack Air is one of the two scheduled airlines in Botswana.
As a result of new and exciting DOMESTIC and REGIONAL (Single AND Multi-Engine) expansion opportunities in the scheduled, charter and contract divisions, we are now RECRUITING FLIGHT CREW.

Botswana is our home, and this regional and domestic expansion will be launched exclusively off our Botswana platform of operations. We are confident that this expansion will not only further stimulate significant ancillary growth within Botswana but likewise the region – we believe it is important that this is driven off a Botswana base by Mack Air for Botswana. Therefore, this employment opportunity is exclusively for citizens of Botswana

Junior Co-Pilots:

Applicant Requirements:

  • Botswana citizenship
  • Valid Commercial Pilot’s License.
  • No minimum hours or fleet type rating is required.
  • A valid passport and willing to travel and base within Botswana and regionally.
  • Multi-Engine Rating is an advantage.
  • Instrument Flight Rating is an advantage.
  • The instructor’s Rating is an advantage.
Junior Captains:

Applicant Requirements:

  • Botswana citizenship
  • Valid Commercial Pilot’s License
  • 750 hours minimum requirement
  • No fleet type rating required
  • Rating will be completed by Mack Air at a CAAB/HRDC accredited facility
  • A valid passport and willing to both travel and base within Botswana and regionally
  • Multi-Engine Rating an advantage
  • Instrument Flight Rating is an advantage
  • Instructor’s Rating an advantage
  • Ratings on either the C208, GA8 or C210 an advantage
Captains:

Applicant Requirements:

  • Botswana citizenship
  • Valid Commercial Pilot’s License
  • 300 hours on type (C208EX) or 300
    hours on equivalent Turbine aircraft
  • Multi-Engine experience is an advantage
  • A valid passport and willing to both travel and base within Botswana and regionally
  • Instrument Flight Rating is an advantage
  • Instructor’s Rating an advantage
