MEHAIR, a pioneering seaplane operator in India, is seeking experienced Pilot in Command (Captain) candidates for its Cessna 208B Grand Caravan amphibian fleet. This role, based across multiple locations in India, involves operating both wheel and amphibian float variants of the aircraft. About the Role

MEHAIR is seeking experienced pilots for Pilot in Command (Captain) positions operating the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, including its amphibian float variants. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to India's first and only seaplane operator, focusing on transforming regional connectivity and promoting eco-conscious aviation. Successful candidates will be integral to a dynamic and mission-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Conducting check and proficiency flights for Cessna 208 pilots.
• Providing type rating instruction on the Cessna 208 (wheels and amphibian float operations).
• Operating the Cessna 208 on seaplane routes.
• Ensuring adherence to DGCA regulations and established safety procedures.
• Supporting pilot training and certification programs.

Requirements

• A valid DGCA CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) or higher license (Indian or foreign license holders are welcome).
• Demonstrated Pilot in Command (PIC) experience on the Cessna 208.
• A Type Rating Instructor/Check Pilot qualification specifically for the Cessna 208 (both wheels and amphibian floats).
• A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Possession of RTR (Restricted Type Rating) and FRTOL (Fresh Restricted Type of License), where applicable.
• A willingness to work across multiple locations within India.
