First Officer

Role Purpose

The First Officer serves as the Commander's deputy and a core member of the flight crew. The incumbent acts in a piloting capacity, assisting the Commander in the management of the flight and the manipulation of aircraft controls under the Commander’s direction.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review all relevant aeronautical and meteorological information, as well as documentation regarding the aircraft’s technical status and anticipated loads.
  • Execute cockpit normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures, checklists, and instrument approach procedures.
  • Assist the Commander in the compilation of all required post-flight trip documentation.
  • Manage the handover of the aircraft to the subsequent crew or maintenance personnel, or ensure the aircraft is properly secured.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Minimum of 0–2 years of relevant flight experience.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Possess a minimum English Proficiency Level 4 certificate.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in an administrative field, combined with established knowledge of aviation, specifically within Flight Operations.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Successful completion of all mandatory Type Courses and associated training.
  • Comprehensive understanding of company operational procedures and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Challenges

The successful candidate must operate the aircraft safely, ensuring full compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards, as well as company interests, across various environmental and weather conditions.
