ISR Pilot
Position Overview
MAG Aerospace is actively seeking highly skilled and professional ISR Pilots to join our elite team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, effective, and efficient execution of all flight operations.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, including comprehensive aircraft checks, and manage mission execution.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Airborne Sensor Operators (ASO), Mission Commanders, and Mission Coordination Services to achieve mission objectives.
- Operate modified Contractor Owned Contractor Operated (COCO) turbo-prop aircraft in accordance with FAA, host nation, and company regulations.
- Maintain constant situational awareness by monitoring airspace, weather, radio communications, and aircraft systems during day, night, VMC, and IMC conditions.
- Liaise with Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), Air Traffic Control (ATC), and military range control to ensure smooth flight coordination.
- Identify, document, and report aircraft maintenance faults and required corrective actions.
- Complete all safety of flight documentation in compliance with applicable industry and FAA standards.
- Operate from remote, austere, and potentially primitive locations with unimproved runways.
- Serve as an Aviation Safety Pilot when directed, upholding the highest standards of crew member safety and customer relations.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1,000 hours of documented Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- A minimum of 300 hours of PIC time in multi-engine turbo-prop aircraft.
- Must hold a current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transportation Pilot license.
- Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- Must possess a BE-300 type rating (unrestricted or SIC required).
- Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid U.S. passport with at least six months of validity.
- Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-deployment medical assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a U.S. military or government law enforcement pilot.
- Designation as a U.S. military-trained Fixed Wing Instructor Pilot, Maintenance Pilot, or Instrument Examiner.
- Experience with overseas deployments, particularly within USCENTCOM or USAFRICOM areas of operation.
- Possession of a Radio Telephone Operator Permit.
- Demonstrated experience supporting USSOCOM in global operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree with seven to nine years of related aviation experience.
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
Location
This position requires deployment to multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations, including potentially austere and primitive environments.
