Position Summary

MAG Aerospace has openings for SIC Pilots in support of our Manned Aviation Division in Oklahoma City, OK.

Candidates for these positions must have documented Active Duty Military and Civil aviation experience, ideally with Special Operations Forces. They will be expected to support airborne training as part of an integrated ground and air team providing Mission and Continuation training to sensor and systems operators in accordance with a government-provided syllabus and training objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pilots supporting this program will be expected to conduct classroom, ground and airborne training and to assist in the production of qualified Tactical System Operators.
  • Pilots will conduct mission briefs, execute sorties and then participate in debriefs and post mission documentation.
  • A strong background in integrated flight and ground training is required to successfully fill these positions.
  • These positions are not subject to deployment overseas, but short-notice recall from off-duty hours to support emergent requirements, night, weekend and holiday work can be expected.

Requirements

The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; thereby, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements with respect to COVID-19, as well as any Government or customer site-specific requirements. Requirements typically include but are not limited to proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, except in circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current and Qualified in the MC-12W
  • 100 flight hour minimum in Type
  • Strong background in ISR and flight support to SOF is required
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience supporting advanced flight training, working as part of a training team and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and integrate with a ground-based training team
    Must hold at least a Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category and class ratings. An Airline Transport Pilot Certificate preferred
  • Must hold an FAA Medical Certificate appropriate to the level of Pilot Certificate

Education:

The minimum level of education required is:

  • a High school diploma

Desired Requirements

  • A current TS clearance with an investigation date that would support immediate SCI eligibility is desired
  • Experience in a military flight training capacity where student evaluation, mentoring and coaching was required is highly desired
  • SOF-experienced Pilots with a BE-300 or 350 Type Rating with Proline 21 certification may be considered

Other Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • A current Secret clearance is required
  • Must be wiling to relocate to Oklahoma, City, OK.
