As an integral part of the LAR Group, Luxembourg Air Services (LAS) is actively expanding its air ambulance operations and seeks highly qualified aviation professionals to join its distinguished flight crew:

  • First Officers (with fast-track upgrade opportunities to Captain)
  • Experienced Captains

The Mission

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering critical, life-saving air ambulance and patient repatriation services on a global scale, upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence inherent in every mission.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

First Officer Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid EASA CPL or ATPL license.
  • A minimum of 1,000 total flight hours, including 500 hours in multi-pilot operations.
  • Demonstrated willingness to relocate within a one-hour commute of Luxembourg Airport (ELLX).
  • Fluency in English, alongside proficiency in either German or French.
  • Opportunity for fast-track upgrade to Captain possible after a minimum of one year of service, subject to performance and company requirements.

Captain Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid EASA CPL or ATPL license.
  • A minimum of 5,000 total flight hours, including 4,000 hours in multi-pilot operations and 2,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Mandatory Challenger 604/605 type rating.
  • Demonstrated willingness to relocate within a one-hour commute of Luxembourg Airport (ELLX).
  • Fluency in English, alongside proficiency in either German or French.

Highly Desirable Attributes (All Pilot Roles)

  • Previous experience operating in non-scheduled air services.
  • A proven background in air ambulance operations.
  • A Challenger 604/605 type rating is considered a significant advantage for First Officer applicants.
