LuxairAirlines | Flight Attendant


For our department Cabin Crew within LuxairAirlines , we are looking for a (an):

Cabin Crew Member (m/f/x)

Main duties:

  • Perform all duties related to the safety and security of our passengers and flight during normal, abnormal and emergency operations,
  • Ensure an effective communication between cabin crew members and flight crew members according the applicable instructions for common language and terminology,
  • Provide appropriate assistance to all types special category passengers,
  • Provide appropriate first aid measures to all types of medical emergencies whether still on ground or inflight,
  • Keep updated with all changes in regulations, documents and instructions provided by Luxair, if necessary update changes in own manuals,
  • Ensure the wellbeing of our guest’s according to the applicable service instructions and the commercial communication guidelines in force,
  • Act according to the current applicable regulations, instructions and take the necessary responsibilities when involved in the process of In-flight Sales on LUXAIR flights,
  • Keep familiar with all available ways/forms of reporting, and communicate issues that occurred while on duty, be it irregularities, feedback, suggestions etc.

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

  • Have a secondary education diploma (Bac) or equivalent,
  • Possess a swimming and/or rescue certificate,
  • Be at least 18 years old and fit for flights,
  • Accept to work according to irregular schedules and during the weekend,
  • Accept layover at the Outstations,
  • Provides basic knowledge in standard office applications,
  • Be customer oriented, have a smart appearance and respect the internal uniform dress code,
  • Show good communication skills in English, French and German (spoken & written),
  • Attend and pass successfully mandatory initial & recurrent training according to the area of activity.

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

  • Refer to the training table,
  • Have an excellent sense of customer contact and be highly service-oriented,
  • Have a basic knowledge of Luxembourgish,
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company,
  • Show user skills in tools used in the department,
  • Be responsible and dynamic, team-oriented and able to deal with stress.

The ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of any other language is considered as major asset to this function
