Aviation Cabin Crew Position at Luxair
Luxair invites applications for a Cabin Crew position. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our passengers throughout the flight, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain passenger and flight safety and security during all phases of operation, including normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
- Facilitate effective communication between cabin and flight crew members, utilizing established protocols and terminology.
- Provide attentive and appropriate assistance to passengers with special needs.
- Administer first aid and handle medical emergencies both in-flight and on the ground.
- Maintain current knowledge of all Luxair regulations, documentation, and instructions, updating personal manuals as required.
- Ensure passenger well-being aligns with service instructions and company communication guidelines.
- Comply with all applicable regulations and instructions concerning in-flight sales.
- Utilize established reporting methods to communicate operational irregularities, feedback, and suggestions.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Secondary education diploma (Baccalaureate or equivalent).
- Valid swimming and/or rescue certification.
- Minimum age of 18 years and demonstrable fitness for flight duties.
- Flexibility to work irregular schedules, including weekends.
- Willingness to accept layovers at outstations.
- Proficiency in standard office software applications.
- Customer-oriented demeanor, professional appearance, and adherence to the company uniform code.
- Excellent communication skills in English, French, and German (written and spoken).
- Successful completion of mandatory initial and recurrent training.
Desirable Requirements:
- Completion of relevant training programs (refer to training documentation for details).
- Exceptional customer service skills and a highly service-oriented approach.
- Basic knowledge of Luxembourgish.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in departmental software tools.
