Responsibilities:
- Safety and Security: Uphold the highest safety and security standards for passengers and crew during all flight phases, including normal operations, abnormal situations, and emergencies.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication with fellow cabin crew members and the flight deck crew, adhering to established protocols for language and terminology.
- Passenger Assistance: Provide attentive and appropriate assistance to all passengers, including those with special needs or requiring additional support.
- Medical Response: Administer first aid and manage medical emergencies effectively, both on the ground and during flight.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on all relevant regulations, procedures, and company directives. Maintain personal knowledge through regular reviews and updates to provided manuals.
- Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding customer service in line with Luxair's service standards and commercial guidelines, ensuring passenger well-being throughout their journey.
- In-flight Sales: Adhere to established procedures and regulations while actively participating in in-flight sales activities on Luxair flights.
- Proactive Reporting: Utilize available reporting channels to communicate any irregularities, feedback, or suggestions encountered during duty.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Secondary education diploma (Bac) or equivalent.
- Valid swimming and/or rescue certificate.
- Minimum age of 18 years old and medically cleared for flight duty.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to accept overnight stays at outstations.
- Proficiency in basic office applications.
- Strong customer orientation with a professional appearance adhering to uniform dress code standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English, French, and German (both written and spoken).
- Successful completion of all mandatory initial and recurrent training programs.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Refer to the training table for specific skills and qualifications.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.
- Basic understanding of the Luxembourgish language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction at all levels within and outside the company.
- Proficiency with departmental tools and software.
- Responsible, dynamic, and team-oriented individual with excellent stress management skills.
