First Officer Boeing 737
Luxair is seeking a highly motivated and professional aviator to join its flight crew as a First Officer on the Boeing 737 fleet. This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a reputable airline, contributing to safe and efficient flight operations across its network.
Responsibilities:
The First Officer will play a crucial role in the flight deck, primarily responsible for:
- Operating scheduled and charter flights safely and efficiently in accordance with Luxair's procedures and regulations.
- Assisting the Commander in the safe conduct of the flight, ensuring operational reliability and adherence to the highest safety standards.
- Collaborating effectively with fellow crew members to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all passengers throughout the journey.
- Establishing and maintaining positive and professional working relationships with Air Traffic Control, Ground Operations personnel, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless flight execution.
- Maintaining proficiency and currency on the Boeing 737 aircraft type.
Required Profile:
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Possess a valid EASA Part-FCL Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating and frozen ATPL.
- Hold a current Type Rating on the Boeing 737, OR have accumulated a minimum of 2000 hours of flying experience gained with an airline operating under EASA OPS regulations.
- Hold a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Provide proof of a secondary school leaving qualification that grants access to university in the country of issue, and/or hold a recognized university diploma.
- Demonstrate a very good command of the English language, equivalent to ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.
- Meet a minimum height requirement of 156 cm.
Desirable Attributes:
The ideal candidate will also possess command of one or more of the official languages of Luxembourg (Luxembourgish, French, and/or German).
