First Officer, De Havilland DHC8-400 / Embraer E2
Luxair Flight Operations invites applications from highly motivated and experienced aviation professionals for the position of First Officer, operating our De Havilland DHC8-400 and Embraer E2 aircraft. Main Duties
As a First Officer with Luxair, the successful candidate will be instrumental in the safe and reliable operation of scheduled and charter flights across our extensive network. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating scheduled and charter flights in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations.
- Taking all necessary steps to ensure a safe and reliable flight operation, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Collaborating closely with fellow crew members to ensure the safety and well-being of all esteemed passengers.
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with all parties involved in flight operations, including Air Traffic Control, Ground Operations, and other essential departments, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Required Profile
Minimum Required Criteria:
- Possession of a valid EASA Part-FCL ATPL license (or a CPL/IR with frozen ATPL).
- Successful completion of an MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) course.
- An Advanced UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) certificate (required if not currently in possession of a Type Rating).
- A minimum of 70 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- A secondary school leaving qualification entitling to university access in the country it was issued, and/or a recognized university diploma.
- Demonstrated very good command of the English language, evidenced by an ELP (English Language Proficiency) Level 4 or higher.
- A minimum height of 156 cm.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proficiency in one or more of the official languages of Luxembourg: Luxembourgish, French, and/or German.
- Current and valid type rating on the De Havilland DHC8-400 and/or Embraer E2 aircraft.
