Job Summary

Lufthansa City Airlines, a new member of the Lufthansa Group, is seeking qualified First Officers for its A220 operations based in Frankfurt and Munich. This permanent position offers the chance to contribute to a growing airline, operating modern aircraft on European routes with a focus on quality and sustainability. Operations are expected to commence in spring 2026.

About the Role

The First Officer will operate the A220 aircraft, contributing to the airline's commitment to providing high-quality and sustainable air travel across European destinations. This role is integral to the successful launch and ongoing operations of Lufthansa City Airlines.

Requirements

• EASA CPL(A) / IR(A) with ATPL theory credit and MCC or MPL (Phase 4 completed).
• A320/A220 Type Rating.
• A minimum of 500 flight hours on CS-25 aircraft.
• Valid Medical Class I.
• Completion of Advanced UPRT training according to EASA.FCL.745.
• General higher education entrance qualification or equivalent.
• EU citizenship or an unrestricted residence and work permit for Germany.
• Passport with unlimited validity.
• Proficient oral and written English skills, with a minimum ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player with strong decision-making skills.
• Exhibits openness, professionalism, and pragmatism.
