Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) is one of Europe's leading Approved Training Organizations (ATOs), conducting over 20,000 hours of simulator-based pilot training annually. To expand our professional instructor team in Vienna, we are seeking qualified Type Rating Instructors and Examiners for the following aircraft types:

Responsibilities
-
Conducting theoretical and practical training in accordance with established training standards.

Preparing and delivering training content to meet specific customer requirements.

Developing and continuously improving training materials.
Requirements
Candidates must possess long-standing experience as an instructor in flight operations or training organizations, alongside the following qualifications:

EASA ATPL license.

Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

Valid MPA type rating with an active TRI entry on at least one of the specified aircraft types, or a valid examiner authorization according to Part-FCL.1005.TRE a).

For A330/A350 roles: Valid MPA type rating with an active TRI entry on an additional Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, or Embraer aircraft type; for examiners, valid authorization per Part-FCL.1005.TRE a).

Minimum ICAO English Level 4.

German language proficiency: Native speaker, Level C1, or ICAO Level 5 "Extended."

Minimum of 500 hours of teaching experience in FSTD or aircraft as SFI/TRI.

Proven experience within the airline training sector.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Strong social and didactic skills, team orientation, and customer focus.

Willingness to travel and readiness to qualify for additional aircraft types.
