The Cabin Safety Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and service excellence within the corporate aviation department. This position is responsible for maintaining professional standards for inflight emergencies and delivering impeccable cabin service, primarily managing up to thirteen senior and executive level passengers on each flight. The specialist ensures the cabin operates safely at all times and holds inflight authority over the company's highest executives.

The Cabin Safety Specialist is required to actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) and contribute to developing best practices within a highly dynamic operational environment. The role demands strict compliance with all mandatory FAA rules and regulations, necessitating a commitment to continuing education and recurrent training.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring the safety and well-being of executive level management onboard.
Diagnosing passenger health and managing medical emergencies in flight.
Determining the safest evacuation methods and leading aircraft evacuations during emergency landings.
Maintaining acute situational awareness of potential inflight emergencies, including the capability to extinguish fires.
Serving as a primary Cabin Safety Attendant (CSA) and acting as a resident expert on all aspects of cabin safety protocols and procedures.
Ensuring food safety for all passengers, utilizing a profile database to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions.
Demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability to dynamic situations, including weather and business needs.
Ensuring all initial and recurrent training requirements are met and up-to-date.
Making recommendations for corrective and preventative actions related to cabin safety issues.
Utilizing effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills to ensure seamless coordination.
Reconciling Purchase Card (P-Card) invoices related to aircraft catering.
Ordering and maintaining aircraft stock and supplies.
Providing scheduling backup support to the Flight Operations Manager.
Assuming additional duties as delegated by the In-Flight Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Skills/Experience

5-7 years of relevant aviation experience, with at least 5 years specifically as a Cabin Safety Attendant with a commercial airline, business aviation department, or government agency is highly desirable.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of culinary arts, food, wine, and menu planning tailored for first-class passenger service.
5-7 years of experience leading or training a team of professional Cabin Safety Attendants.
