Tests aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability. Operates models of test aircraft during engineering flight tests, production acceptance, and flight test support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers.

Coordinates flight operations efforts. Approves cockpit configuration. Attends System Change Control Board meetings to work through, provide pilot input and decision on opening or closure/solutions for SCRs. Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Top Secret clearance to be considered.**
Basic Qualifications:
Top Secret security clearance
DCMAINST 8210.1 series acceptable qualifications for contractor UA pilot/operator
Class 2 (or class 1) FAA medical
FAA Commercial Pilot's license
Desired Skills:
Over 1200 hours PIC time.
Experience with GA Twin Prop aircraft.
Experience with RPA/UAS aircraft and systems, air and ground segments.
Technical writing ability.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Test Pilot school graduate highly desired.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $160,600 - $302,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
