Description:

Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program
Selected applicant will provide support to a unique Advanced Development Program (ADP) as the member of an elite team. Applicants must have commercial pilot skills (or appropriate time in program aircraft) and experience to include operations in restricted airspace including MOA's, as well as operating in all classes of FAA controlled airspace. A commercial pilot certificate with instrument privileges and or an ATP rating and single and multi-engine ratings is required unless already qualified in program aircraft. Applicant must have a minimum of nine years’ experience and have attained a minimum of 1500 flight hours in Turbo- Jet and/or turbo-prop aircraft. Selected applicant must meet minimum medical requirements, which includes a company overseas physical and a current FAA second class physical.

Candidates must be willing to train for, travel to, and work in austere remote locations and accept assignment to location for which selected. Must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends. Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox.

The applicant selected will be subjected to Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.

This position will require an active Top-Secret security clearance with a current SBI.

The candidate must agree to and successfully pass a counter intelligence polygraph examination.

Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.”

Basic Qualifications:
Current commercial pilot skills or program aircraft qualification and experience to include operations in restricted airspace (MOA's, Restricted Areas, and the like) as well as experience operating in classes of FAA controlled airspace.

A commercial pilot certificate with instrument privileges and/or an ATP rating or equivalent qualification in program aircraft.

Must possess a minimum of 1500 flight hours in Turbo-Jet and/or turbo-prop aircraft.

Desired Skills:
Applicant must have a minimum of three years’ experience

World-wide, day/night, instrument conditions operational experience is desired. Experience with employment/deployment of complex weapon systems, payloads and/or sensor packages is highly desired. Skilled briefer, power point presenter, conversant with FAA FARs

A commercial pilot certificate with instrument privileges (and/or an ATP rating) as well a single engine ratings are required unless program aircraft qualified.

Applicant must have a current FAA second class physical and be eligible and volunteer for world-wide deployments.

Travel, remote operations and temporary remote assignments will be required for an individual that serves in this position.

Applicant must be willing to perform job responsibilities in austere and remote environments.
Medically qualified for this type of duty. Immunizations will be required.

Active Top Secret security clearance with a current SBI desired. Applicants selected will be subject to and must successfully pass government security investigations and polygraphs.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with an investigation within 6 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
