Job Summary
Our client, a distinguished aviation organization, is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced H145 Instructor Pilot. This critical role supports ongoing advanced training requirements within Saudi Arabia, focusing on the comprehensive development of flight crew capabilities. The H145 Instructor Pilot will be responsible for delivering essential ground and flight instruction, encompassing a wide range of basic and advanced training modules vital for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The H145 Instructor Pilot will be entrusted with a pivotal set of duties, including:
- Delivering expert ground and flight instruction for the H145 helicopter, strictly adhering to approved syllabi for both basic and advanced courses. This encompasses specialized training in Conversion, Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations, Hoist operations, and Tactical Flying.
- Conducting rigorous Functional Check Flights (FCF) on the H145 helicopter to ensure optimal performance and airworthiness standards.
- Developing and meticulously documenting comprehensive training plans tailored to meet specific operational requirements and evolving needs.
- Ensuring all regulatory documentation and procedural guidelines are consistently updated and maintained in full compliance with current aviation regulations.
- Creating, maintaining, and regularly reviewing and revising all relevant training materials, syllabi, examinations, and associated publications specific to the H145 platform.
- Managing and updating training files for all aircrew operating the H145 helicopter, ensuring accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this demanding position must possess an exceptional background in rotary-wing aviation instruction, demonstrated by:
- Formal qualification as an Instructor Pilot from a recognized and accredited aviation institution.
- Possession of current FAA, EASA, ATP, CFi, CFII, SOI (Simulator Operator Instructor), or an equivalent globally recognized certification.
- A strong and demonstrable military aviation background is a mandatory requirement.
- A minimum of 3,000 total rotary-wing flight hours.
- Within the total flight hours, candidates must have accrued at least:
- 1,000 hours as an Instructor Pilot (IP).
- 500 hours performing Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations.
- 100 hours specifically on the H145 or EC145 helicopter type.
- A minimum of 100 flight hours completed within the last 12 months, ensuring recency of operational experience.
- Extensive operational experience in critical specialized areas, including hoist operations, NVG training, Functional Check Flights (FCF), and tactical flying.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
