Opportunity Overview
Life Link III seeks a highly skilled and safety-conscious Fixed-Wing Pilot to join their esteemed team in Blaine, MN. This vital role involves piloting Life Link III’s Pilatus PC-12 NG, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of medical crews and patients to receiving hospitals within the assigned operational area. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ultimate authority for the safety of passengers, cargo, and medical personnel, exercising operational control for all initiated flights.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
- Execute all flight operations in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), the aircraft flight manual, the General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, and all Life Link III policies and procedures.
- Meticulously complete all required flight documentation.
- Cultivate and maintain a positive and professional rapport with colleagues and customers alike.
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct detailed flight planning and weather checks, often with limited notice.
- Maintain comprehensive awareness of pertinent flight information, including NOTAMs, TFRs, and real-time weather conditions.
- Maintain all required qualifications as stipulated by the FARs.
- Supervise the loading of passengers, baggage, and fuel, ensuring weight and balance remain within the limitations specified in the aircraft flight manual for all flight operations (Part 91 and 135).
- Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.
Qualifications
- Commercial pilot certificate & Instrument Rating for category and class of aircraft. (Airplane, Single Engine Land) (ATP in category and class fulfills this requirement.)
- First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
- 2500 hours Total time
- 1000 hours PIC in category
- 500 hours of cross country
- 100 hours night time
- 100 hours of actual instrument time in flight in category
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization and external stakeholders, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3000 hours total time
- 2000 hours aircraft flight hours in category
- 300 hours of Turbine time
- Previous PC-12 experience
- Experience in HAA operations
- Bachelor’s degree
