Leidos is seeking a highly experienced UH-60 Blackhawk Instructor Pilot to join their Airborne & Mission Solutions team, supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program in Marana, AZ. This role is crucial for delivering comprehensive flight and simulation training, and classroom instruction to prepare ARNG personnel for demanding operational environments.
About the Role
The selected Instructor Pilot will provide in-flight instruction for UH-60 A/L aircraft, conduct instructor qualification courses, and facilitate readiness level progressions. Responsibilities include delivering academic instruction, conducting pre-mission planning and after-action reviews, and maintaining accurate training records in accordance with AR 95-1, TRADOC Programs of Instruction (POI), UH-60 dATM, and local AATS SOPs. The role requires adherence to DCMA INST 8210-1D for all aircrew training program (ATP) requirements and participation in no-notice evaluation programs.
Requirements

High School Diploma with 8 years of applicable experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience.

Minimum of 250 military IP Flight Hours and/or 2 years of IP experience at an USAACE approved or OASS accredited program.

USAACE/AATS (or equivalent Army approved NET) qualified IP in the relevant aircraft type.

Instructor Training Course (ITC) or ABIC qualified; or successful graduation from an AATS provided ABIC course within 12 months of the start date.

FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.

FAA Second Class flight physical required (Army Contractor pilots have the option of maintaining an annual FAA Second Class Medical Certificate or an Army Class 2 FDME per DCMA 8210.1D).

Experience as an SP, IE and/or IP in an OASS school, MTOE or TDA organization at the company and/or battalion level.

Must meet instructor qualification requirements per TR 350-10, TR 350-70.

Contractors performing flight operations must adhere to minimum qualifications as prescribed by DCMA INST 8210.1D.

All contractor Rated and Non-Rated Crewmembers will receive ACT-E qualification and sustainment training per TC 3-04.11.

Must possess a favorable background investigation or hold a security clearance and access approvals commensurate with the level of information processed or available.
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.

IP experience at EAATS, HAATS, WAATS, or U.S. Army Aviation Training Center.

Desired USAACE qualified Instrument Flight Examiner (IFE).
