Leidos is seeking a Senior Instructor to join its National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team, supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA). This remote position requires travel for in-person instruction and focuses on providing technical training for new hire electronics personnel involved in fiber optics projects for Engineering Services.
The Senior Instructor will deliver comprehensive classroom and laboratory instruction to students, covering the fundamental principles of fiber optic technology and electronics systems. This includes training on fiber types, splicing techniques, network design, safety protocols, and the use of specialized tools. The role involves assisting students in developing essential skills for entry-level fiber optic cable installer and technician positions. Instruction will be conducted through lectures, demonstrations, handouts, and assessments, with potential for both day and evening courses.
