CH-47F Chinook Flight Line Non-Rated Crewmember (NRCM) Flight Instructor
Leidos is seeking a qualified CH-47F Chinook Flight Line Non-Rated Crewmember (NRCM) Flight Instructor to provide direct support to the Army National Guard Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program at Fort Indiantown Gap in Annville, PA. As an integral member of the Integrated Airborne Solutions (IAS) Division, the NRCM Flight Instructor will perform flight and academic training in the CH-47F, contributing to the success of the AATS student training mission and participating in the unit aircrew training program.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain training records for formal course students and ATP records as required for unit readiness level progression trainees.
- Provide instruction and evaluation to students in accordance with Training Support Packages for AATS approved courses of instruction.
- Deliver Aircrew Coordination Training-Enhanced (ACT-E) Training IAW with the approved course Training Support Package.
- Conduct daily academic instruction on regulations and publications, aircraft systems, mission planning, and aircraft maintenance IAW course Training Support Package.
- Facilitate pre-mission planning and after-action reviews for all flights and simulation periods conducted.
- Complete all aircrew training program (ATP) requirements IAW DCMA INST 8210-1D, AR 95-1, and the applicable dATM. Participate in No-notice evaluation program.
- Coordinate daily tasks and requirements (e.g., work schedules, leaves) of contract employees to meet AATS missioned training requirements and schoolhouse accreditation, as directed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Army, National Guard, and AATS policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Report Instructor Flight and Operation data in the Task Order Monthly Report.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 8 years of applicable experience or Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience.
- Satisfactory completion of unit aircrew training program within 9 months of start date.
- FAA Second Class flight physical required; Army Contractor pilots may maintain an annual FAA Second Class Medical Certificate or an Army Class 2 FDME.
- Instructor Training Course (ITC) or ABIC qualified; or successful graduation from an AATS provided ABIC course within 12 months of employment.
- Meet instructor qualification requirements as defined by the Aviation proponent and IAW TR 350-10, TR 350-70.
- Meet all Army initial aircraft qualifications and recurrent training requirements per AR 95-1 and the applicable aircraft Digital Aircrew Training Module (dATM) (DCMA 8210.1D, para 4.3.4.3).
- Satisfactory completion of an APART IAW with the CH-47/UH-60 dATM, unit ATP, DCMA INST 8210-1D and AR95-1 is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Instructor experience at EAATS, HAATS, WAATS or U.S. Army Aviation Training Center.
- Previous ACT-E qualification and sustainment training IAW TC 3-04.11.

Salary Range: $63,700.00 – $115,150.00
