Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and motivated UH-60 Blackhawk Instructor Pilot to join its Integrated Airborne Solutions (IAS) Division, supporting the Army National Guard (ANG) Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program at the Western Army Aviation Training Site (WAATS) in Marana, AZ. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of Army National Guard aviation training programs. The selected candidate will provide in-flight instruction on UH-60 A/L aircraft, conduct instructor qualification courses, manage readiness level progressions, and participate in regional and foreign military training initiatives. This role includes conducting Instructor Operator tasks and delivering academic instruction. All training will adhere to AR 95-1, TRADOC Programs of Instruction (POI), UH-60 dATM, and local AATS SOPs, and will be conducted in accordance with DCMA INST 8210-1D requirements.
Primary responsibilities include maintaining student training records, providing instruction and evaluation to student pilots, conducting daily academic instruction for various courses, facilitating pre-mission planning and after-action reviews, completing all aircrew training program (ATP) requirements, coordinating daily tasks of contract employees, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, coordinating with the GFR to confirm contractor qualifications, and reporting flight data.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma with eight years of applicable experience or a Bachelor's degree with four years of experience, a minimum of 250 military Instructor Pilot flight hours or two years of IP experience at a USAACE or OASS accredited program, USAACE/AATS qualified IP in type aircraft, Instructor Training Course or ABIC qualification (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire), FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, and FAA Second Class flight physical (or Army Class 2 FDME). Experience as an SP, IE and/or IP in an OASS school, MTOE or TDA organization, compliance with TR 350-10 and TR 350-70, and ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance are also required. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, have IP experience at EAATS, HAATS, WAATS, or U.S. Army Aviation Training Center, and be a USAACE qualified Instrument Flight Examiner (IFE).
The salary range for this position is $85,150.00 to $153,925.00, commensurate with experience, education, skills, and other factors.
