UH-60 Blackhawk Academic Instructor - Army National Guard Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) Program
Leidos, a leading provider of innovative solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Integrated Airborne Solutions (IAS) Division as a UH-60A/L/M Blackhawk Academic Instructor in Marana, Arizona. This exciting opportunity supports the Army National Guard (ANG) Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program, providing essential instruction for the development of skilled aviation professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive academic instruction on regulations, publications, aircraft systems, and aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved Training Support Packages.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for all formal course students.
- Facilitate practical exercises, training support activities, and after action reviews.
- Contribute to the development and update of courseware, Course Management Plans (CMP), Student Evaluation Plans (SEP), Lesson Plans (LP), Flight Training guides (FTG), and Exceptions to Policy (ETP).
- Coordinate daily tasks and requirements of contract employees, ensuring adherence to AATS missioned training requirements and schoolhouse accreditation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Army, National Guard, and AATS policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Submit detailed Instructor Flight and Operation data in the Task Order Monthly Report.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma with 6 years of applicable experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience.
- Prior academic instructor experience at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), U.S. Army Aviation Logistics School (USAALS), Army National Guard Aviation Training Site (AATS), or equivalent.
- Completion of Instructor Training Course (ITC) or ABIC qualification, or the ability to successfully graduate from an AATS provided ABIC course within 3 months of starting employment.
- Adherence to instructor qualification requirements defined by the Aviation proponent and IAW TR 350-10, TR 350-70.
- Aviation maintenance MOS qualification received through an approved USAALS/AATS or other service equivalent course.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Pay Range:
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Pay Range: $49,400.00 - $89,300.00
