Leidos Seeks Experienced BE350 Pilot In Command for CONUS and OCONUS Operations
Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and motivated BE350 Pilot In Command (PIC) to join its Defense Group. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage extensive aviation expertise in support of critical CONUS and OCONUS operations.
About the Role:
The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of flight operations for the King Air 350 aircraft, including flight planning, pre and post flight procedures, while adhering to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements. The PIC will work closely with the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and Leidos Program Chief Pilot to ensure mission success. This role may require living and working in austere conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safe and efficient flight operations in the King Air 350 aircraft.
- Execute flight plans, pre-flight checks, and post-flight procedures in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer focus.
- Demonstrate exceptional aviation skills and judgment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Adapt to changing operational environments and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1,500 hours of total PIC flight time.
- 300 hours of PIC flight time in a Super King Air 350 or similar aircraft type.
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- FAA Commercial Airplane and Airplane Airman Certificate.
- FAA Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane Airman Certificate.
- Proline 21 and Garmin G1000 experience.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Current passport and valid state driver's license.
- Excellent English language proficiency (written and verbal).
- Active DOD Secret security clearance or higher.
- Ability to meet contractual/program training and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel, including COVID testing and completion of CONUS Replacement Courses (CRC) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2,500 hours of PIC flight time.
- 500 hours of Multiengine flight time.
- 200 hours of actual Instrument flight time.
- 500 hours of Turbine flight time.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
- Rating held for the last two consecutive years.
- Previous experience as a U.S. Military, Customs, DEA, or US Contracting ISR Pilot.
- Experience as a U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Pilot.
- Prior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in the current area of operation.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
