Leidos Seeks Experienced BE350 Pilot In Command
Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and motivated BE350 Pilot In Command (PIC) to join its esteemed Defense Group. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to leverage your expertise in support of critical CONUS and OCONUS operations.
About the Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of flight operations for the King Air 350 aircraft, including flight planning, pre- and post-flight procedures, and ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and company protocols. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and the Leidos Program Chief Pilot, the PIC will demonstrate exceptional aviation proficiency, unwavering commitment to safety, and a customer-focused approach. This role may require living and working in austere conditions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and eight (8) years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
FAA Requirements:
- 1,500 hours of total PIC time
- 300 hours of PIC time in a Super King Air 350 aircraft or similar type
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- FAA Commercial Airplane and Airplane Airman Certificate, Multiengine Land, and Instrument Airplane Airman Certificate
- Proline 21 and Garmin G1000 experience
General Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum age of 21
- Current passport and valid state driver's license
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
- Active DOD Secret security clearance (or higher)
- Ability to meet contractual/program training and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel, including COVID testing and successful completion of CONUS Replacement Courses (CRC) within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2,500 hours of PIC time
- 500 hours of Multiengine time
- 200 hours of actual Instrument time
- 500 hours of Turbine time
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating held for the last two (2) consecutive years
- Previous experience as a U.S. Military, Customs, DEA, or US Contracting ISR Pilot
- Experience as a U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Pilot
- Prior OCONUS rotation experience, ideally in the current area of operation
- Active Top Secret security clearance
