Aviation Professional: BE350 Pilot In Command (PIC)
Leidos seeks an experienced and accomplished BE350 Pilot in Command (PIC) to join its esteemed Defense Group. About the Role:
The PIC will be responsible for all facets of flight operations for the King Air 350 aircraft, encompassing flight planning, pre and post-flight procedures, and meticulous adherence to all applicable regulations, program protocols, and corporate guidelines. This role reports to the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and the Leidos Program Chief Pilot. Operating within a demanding environment, the PIC must demonstrate exceptional aviator skills, an unwavering commitment to safety, and a customer-centric approach. Austere living and working conditions may be required.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and eight (8) years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
FAA Certifications & Requirements:
- 1,500 hours total PIC time
- 300 hours PIC in a Super King Air 350 aircraft or similar type
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- FAA Commercial Airplane and Airplane Airman Certificate, Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane Airman Certificate
- Proline 21 and Garmin G1000 experience
General Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current passport
- Valid state driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Active DOD security clearance at the SECRET level or higher
- Ability to meet contractual/program training and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel, including COVID testing and completion of CONUS Replacement Courses (CRC) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2,500 hours of PIC time
- 500 hours of Multiengine time
- 200 hours of Instrument (actual) time
- 500 hours of Turbine time
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating held for the last two (2) consecutive years
- Experience as a U.S. Military, Customs, DEA, or US Contracting ISR Pilot
- Background as a U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Pilot
- Prior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in the current area of operation
- Active security clearance at the Top Secret level
