Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Global 6000/6500 Flight Instructor to join its Defense Group in El Paso, TX. The Flight Instructor will play a crucial role in training and ensuring the proficiency of the next generation of U.S. Army Fixed-Wing Aviators. This individual will uphold the highest standards of aviation skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus.
The Flight Instructor will deliver both ground and flight instruction to U.S. Army personnel, conduct and document flight evaluations in accordance with the Leidos Global 6000/6500 Program of Instruction and/or US Army Global 6000/6500 Aircrew Training Manual (ATM). They will manage and monitor aircrew crew endurance status to ensure compliance with DCMA 8210.1D, AR 95-20, and 14 CFR Part 91. The Flight Instructor will also assist in the development, review, and implementation of the Program of Instruction/Syllabus according to U.S. Army TRADOC requirements. This position serves as a point of contact for site interactions with the Government Flight Representative (GFR) and other resident U.S. Government personnel, and acts as a Contractor’s Requesting Official (CRO). They will operate aircraft in compliance with all applicable regulations, program and corporate policies, and manage all aircraft movement requests, including coordination of PPRs, APACS requests and ATO compliance, and will liaise with U.S. Government Flight Operations Personnel and GFR.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $126,100.00 to $227,950.00. Leidos considers various factors when determining compensation, including the responsibilities of the role, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data.
