_The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a BE350 Lead Pilot. The Lead Pilot will be based in Manassas and support contracted CONUS flight operations, with the possibility of occasional OCONUS deployments._

_The right candidate must meet our high standards of aviator skill, safety, professionalism, and customer focus. Additionally, the Lead Pilot will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:_

**THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)**

+ _Act as the primary POC for site interaction with the GFR_

+ _Act as the primary Contractor’s Requesting Official (CRO)_

+ _Provide all information requested by the Battle Captain/Customer and/or GFR thru the Site Operations Manager (SOM)_

+ _Conduct and document training and flight evaluations IAW the HR3DGI KA350 Aircrew Training Manual (ATM)_

+ _Manage and monitor all aircrew Crew Endurance status to ensure DCMA 8210.1C/AR 95-20 compliance_

+ _Schedule flight crews in support of assigned mission_

+ _Manage and coordinate travel for flight crews as required in support of the contract_

+ _Operate aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations, and program/corporate policies and procedures_

+ _Manage all aircraft movement requests to include coordination of PPRs, diplomatic clearances, Call Sign Requests and ATO compliance_

+ _Act as the primary on-site representative to the HR3D Program Flight Operations Manager (FOM)_

+ _Liaison with the Battle Captain/Customer and GFR with input from the Leidos (SOM) on all flight operation matters_

+ _Coordinate with the Maintenance Lead to ensure aircraft availability in support of the contract_

+ _Coordinate with the Chief Sensor Operator to ensure sensor and operator availability in support of the contract_

+ _Liaison with the Airspace Coordinator to meet customer requirements_

+ _Complete any additionally tasking assigned by the Chief Pilot._

**WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)**

**_Education_**

+ _BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience. 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects._

**_Qualifications_**

+ _3,500 hours total time_

+ _1000 hours PIC in a King Air 200/300 Series aircraft_

+ _Must hold a Commercial Airplane Multiengine Instructor Pilot (CFII/MEI) with Instruments Airman Certificate_

+ _Must be a U.S. Citizen_

+ _Must be at least 21 years of age_

+ _Must possess a current passport_

+ _Must possess a valid state driver’s license_

+ _Must read, write, speak and understand English_

+ _Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate_

+ _Must be able to meet all CRC deployment and medical requirements_

+ _Must possess an active DOD security clearance at the SECRET level, or higher_

+ _Have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance_

+ _Flown any fixed wing aircraft in the past 90 days._

+ _Flown a King Air in the past 12 months_

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ _Proline 21 and Garmin G1000 proficient_

+ _Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)_

+ _2,500 hours of PIC time_

+ _300 hours of Instrument (actual) time_

+ _Rating held for the last three (3) consecutive years_

+ _Active security clearance at Top Secret level_

+ _Upset Recovery Training (UPRT) qualified_

+ _Government Flight Representative (GFR) Course Graduate/Experience with DCMA 8210.1C_

+ _ForeFlight proficient_

+ _Former U.S. Military, Customs, DEA Pilot or US Contracting ISR Pilot_

+ _U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Maintenance Pilot_

+ _Prior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in current area of operation_

+ _Microsoft Office programs proficient_

**Pay Range:**

Pay Range $101,400.00 – $183,300.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
