Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Prospective candidates must strictly adhere to the following professional and administrative requirements:

Flight Time and Operational Experience

  • Total Flight Time: The candidate must possess a minimum of 1,200 total flight hours.
  • Multi-Engine Experience: A minimum of 1,000 hours must have been logged on multi-engine aircraft.
  • First Officer Experience: Candidates must have operated for a minimum of 1,000 hours in the capacity of a First Officer (FO) on a multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft engaged in commercial air transport operations.
  • Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required, as relevant Type Rating Training will be provided by Lauda Europe.

Licensing, Recency, and Medical Status

  • License Requirements: Applicants must hold a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (Frozen ATPL), including valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) qualifications.
  • Applicable License Holders: Only EASA License Holders will be considered for this position.
  • Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): Candidates must possess a minimum ICAO ELP Level 4.
  • MEIR Recency: The expiry date of the Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) must not exceed 12 months from the date of commencement of the course. The MEIR must be valid on the date of assessment.
  • Flight Recency: The candidate must have operated on the relevant aircraft type within the 36 months preceding the course start date.

Administrative and Legal Requirements

  • Right to Work: The candidate must hold an unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union (EU) and/or the United Kingdom (UK), applicable to specific operational bases (this includes candidates who hold 'Pre-Settled Status').
  • Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not provided for this recruitment process.
  • Compliance: The candidate must be able to pass an enhanced background check and satisfy all other required regulatory stipulations necessary for commercial air transport operations.
