Lauda Europe: Captain, A320/A330/A340 Fleet
Lauda Europe is actively seeking accomplished and highly qualified Captains to join its distinguished A320, A330, and A340 flight crew. This represents an exceptional opportunity for dedicated aviation professionals to contribute to a dynamic and expanding airline operations.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Prospective candidates must meet the following stringent criteria:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time.
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 800 hours PIC.
- This must include at least 800 hours PIC on a Multi-crew, Multi-engine jet aircraft weighing in excess of 30,000kg MTOW. PIC hours on turboprop aircraft will not be considered.
- A minimum of 500 hours PIC specifically on the A320 Family, A330, A340, or a combination of hours across these aircraft types.
- Multi-Engine Time: A minimum of 2,000 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
- At least 2,000 hours must be accrued on a Multi-crew, Multi-engine aircraft weighing in excess of 30,000kg MTOW, gained with an established airline, cargo operator, private operator, or military transport.
- Jet Time: A minimum of 800 hours on jet aircraft.
- Type Rating:
- A valid A320, A330, or A340 type rating is mandatory and must be explicitly listed on the applicant's licence.
- The application must be submitted within 36 months of the most recent "Valid Until" date for the A320/A330/A340 rating, as specified in Section XII "Certificate of Revalidation". This ensures the rating has not expired for more than three years at the anticipated course commencement date.
- Recent Flight Experience: The applicant must have operated as Commander on an A320, A330, or A340 within the 36 months preceding the projected course start date.
- Licence Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Accepted licences include EASA Part FCL (UK licences are accepted for application purposes only) or National Licences compliant with ICAO standards.
- Please note: FAA licences cannot be accepted.
- ICAO licences will necessitate validation by the Maltese TM-CAD.
- Medical Certificate: A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency: A minimum of ICAO ELP Level 4.
- Right to Live and Work: Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to live and work within the European Union.
- Background Check: Candidates must be able to successfully pass an enhanced background check and fulfil all other regulatory requirements pertinent to the role.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
