Specialist Pilot (PIC) - OCONUS

This challenging and rewarding opportunity calls for highly skilled and experienced pilots to operate aircraft in support of critical operations. The Specialist Pilot (PIC) will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of flights in accordance with FAA, company, and customer directives. This role demands proficiency in Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations and the ability to thrive in remote environments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct flight operations while adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Employ advanced NVG skills for night operations.
- Liaise with maintenance personnel to address and resolve aircraft discrepancies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adaptability in demanding situations.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
General Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- US Citizenship
- Current US passport
- Valid State Driver's License
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Compliance with medical deployment standards, including COVID-19 vaccination requirements
- Eligibility to possess firearms
FAA Requirements:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane – Multiengine Land rating
- Instrument Airplane rating
Flight Time Requirements:
- Minimum 2,000 hours of total documented flight time
- Minimum 1,000 hours of Pilot in Command time
- Minimum 300 hours of fixed-wing time
Evaluation Process:
Applicant flight experience will be thoroughly assessed, considering factors such as:
- Quality and recency of experience
- Verifiability of training records
- Complexity of aircraft flown
- Types of flight operations undertaken
- Total hours flown as PIC in turbine-powered aircraft
Preferred Experience:
- Manned ISR operations
- Forward Air Control (FAC), FAC (A), or JTAC experience
- Airborne sensor operation
- Fixed or rotary-wing close air support
Preferred Qualifications:
- 200 hours of Turboprop time
- 200 hours of actual Instrument time
- 300 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine time
- BE300 type rating
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Consistent rating maintenance for the past three consecutive years
- Completion of formal or specialized training on assigned aircraft and equipment
Additional Requirements:
- FAA Class II Medical Certificate (required prior to offer of employment)
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test and medical examination
- Clearance of criminal history and background checks
Special Consideration:
Military-trained aviators with less than the minimum required flight hours may be given special consideration.
