Korean Air is seeking experienced Boeing 787 Captains to join its international fleet, based in South Korea. This Captain-level role involves operating a modern, wide-body aircraft on global routes, offering a 5-year renewable contract with a leading Asian carrier.

About the Role

The Captain will command and manage the crew on long-haul international scheduled routes utilizing the B787 Dreamliner. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive pre-flight planning, delivering thorough crew briefings, and ensuring strict adherence to all safety and operational procedures. This position offers valuable international airline experience with one of Asia's premier full-service carriers.

Requirements

• Valid ATPL license
• Minimum 7000 total flight hours
• Minimum 2500 hours PIC (Pilot in Command) airline jet transport time
• Minimum 5000 hours total airline jet transport time
• Minimum 1000 hours PIC (Pilot in Command) on the B787 aircraft
• B787 type rating required
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above
• Under 60 years of age at the date of joining
• Recent flight experience on type within the last 12 months (or 24 months if currently rated on another jet transport aircraft)
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
