Kenya Airways, the national carrier for Kenya, is seeking highly motivated and experienced pilots to join their team as First Officers. Responsibilities and Opportunities:
- Operate as First Officer on international and domestic routes, contributing to a dynamic and varied flight schedule.
- Maintain a minimum of 8 days off per 28-day roster, achieving an estimated 800-900 flight hours annually.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism, embodying Kenya Airways' commitment to excellence.
- Collaborate effectively within a high-performing team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 250 flight hours (excluding simulator experience) is required.
- Candidates must be Kenyan citizens.
- A valid Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) Commercial Pilot License/Airline Transport Pilot License (CPL/ATPL) is required.
- An unrestricted Class One Medical Certificate from the KCAA is mandatory.
- Excellent command of English with a KCAA English Proficiency Level 4 or above.
- Valid Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Performance Rating A, and Gas Turbine Rating.
- High school education with a minimum grade of C (plain) overall, including at least a C- (minus) in Mathematics, English, Physics, or General Science.
- Flight Management System and glass cockpit experience are highly advantageous.
- E90/B737NG Type Rating is considered an asset.
- Minimum height requirement of 5 feet 4 inches.
