Kenya Airways - Second Officer Pilot Position
Kenya Airways, the national carrier of Kenya, is seeking highly motivated and experienced pilots to join our fleet of modern aircraft as Second Officers. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate assigned aircraft in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the Captain and other crew members to ensure a smooth and efficient flight.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: 250 flight hours, excluding simulator experience.
- Citizenship: Kenyan citizen.
- Licensing:
- Valid KCAA (Kenya Civil Aviation Authority) CPL/ ATPL.
- Unrestricted class one medical certificate.
- KCAA English Proficiency level 4 or above.
- Ratings:
- Valid Instrument Rating.
- Multi Engine Rating.
- Performance Rating A.
- Gas Turbine Rating.
- Education:
- High school education with an aggregate grade of C (plain).
- Minimum of C- (minus) grade in Mathematics, English, Physics, or general sciences.
- Additional Advantages:
- Flight Management System and Glass cockpit experience.
- E90/ B737NG Type Rating.
- Physical Requirements: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches height.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Permanent employment upon successful completion of training.
- Full roster with a mixture of international and domestic duties from our Nairobi base.
- Minimum of 8 days off per 28-day roster.
- Estimated annual flight hours: 800 to 900.
