Keewatin Air | PC-24 Captain

Keewatin Air, a prominent Northern Canadian aeromedical operator, is seeking a Pilatus PC-24 Captain to join their team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This role involves operating the PC-24 aircraft on a 14 days on / 14 days off roster, ensuring the safety and efficient operation of flights for emergency air ambulance, regional medevac, and charter services.

About the Role

The PC-24 Captain is entrusted with the utmost responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft and the well-being of all individuals on board. This position requires adherence to stringent aviation regulations and procedures, along with the critical decision-making necessary for flight planning, weather assessment, mechanical integrity, and emergency management. The Captain will perform pre-flight duties, ensure compliance with all operational manuals and regulations, and maintain meticulous record-keeping.

Requirements

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), ICAO.
• Minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
• Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine turbine aircraft.
• Minimum of 100 hours on type (PC-24).
• Strong understanding of Transport Canada regulations.
• Ability to obtain a Driving Airside (D/A) licence and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• Valid driver’s licence and valid passport with the ability to travel abroad unrestricted.
• Successful completion of a criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Vulnerable Sectors check.
• Full vaccination with a Canadian-approved COVID-19 vaccination.
• Experience in MEDEVAC/air ambulance operations is considered an asset.
• Indigenous Awareness and/or Cultural Diversity training is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

• Rotational schedule of 14 days on / 14 days off.
• Operations into remote or challenging fields.
• Work performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather conditions.
• Physical demands include lifting, sitting, standing, climbing, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
