Position Purpose
The First Officer assists the Captain and crew through the application of Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles to operate the aircraft in full compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform preflight inspections of the aircraft and freight.

Assist the flight crew with all required documentation and paperwork.

Operate the aircraft with strict adherence to established policies, regulations, and procedures.

Identify and report any unsafe conditions during ground or flight operations.

Perform post-flight inspections of the aircraft.
Education and Experience
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education is preferred.

Previous FAR 121 experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications

FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Certificate or Restricted Multi-Engine Airline Pilot Certificate.

Minimum 1500 hours total time; 2000+ hours total time preferred.

For military applicants: Less than 2000 hours total time; Turbine and Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours are flexible.

1500 turbine (Jet) flight time preferred.
-
1000 PIC turbine (Jet) flight time preferred.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Radio License.
-
No restrictions on international travel.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Ability to successfully pass a 10-year security background check and a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Language Skills
Candidates must possess the ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English, as well as the ability to generate routine reports and professional correspondence.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The First Officer must be capable of performing duties both inside and outside the cockpit across a wide range of meteorological conditions, including extreme cold and heat. Essential physical requirements include the ability to walk up or down stairs, work in confined areas for extended periods, and lift up to 60 lbs.
