Position Purpose
The First Officer assists the Captain and crew in operating the aircraft in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies and procedures, utilizing effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) to ensure safe flight operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft and freight.

Assist the flight crew with necessary operational documentation.

Operate the aircraft with precise adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and standard procedures.

Identify and report any unsafe conditions encountered during ground or flight operations.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.

Certificates/Licenses:
FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Certificate or Restricted Multi-Engine Airline Pilot Certificate, Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate, and FCC Radio License.

Flight Experience:
1,500 hours total time minimum (2,000+ hours preferred). For military applicants: under 2,000 hours total time, with flexibility regarding turbine and Pilot-in-Command (PIC) requirements. 1,500 hours of turbine (jet) time and 1,000 hours of PIC turbine (jet) time are preferred.

Operational Experience:
Previous FAR 121 experience is preferred but not required.

Regulatory Compliance:
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., possess no restrictions on international travel, and have the ability to pass a 10-year security background check as well as pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Communication:
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; ability to produce routine reports and correspondence.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The First Officer will perform duties inside and outside the cockpit across a wide variety of meteorological conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Essential physical requirements include the ability to walk up or down stairs, work in confined spaces for extended periods, and lift up to 60 lbs.
