Crew Management Union seeks a qualified First Officer for a Regular Full-Time position based in Ypsilanti, MI. This role supports the Captain and crew in the safe operation of aircraft, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies.

About the Role

The First Officer (FO) plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This position requires assisting the Captain with pre-flight and post-flight inspections, aircraft operations, and paperwork. The FO will meticulously follow all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures, while also being vigilant in identifying and reporting any safety concerns. This is a flight operations role reporting to the Chief Pilot.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• No restrictions on International Travel.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a 10-year security background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
• Ability to walk up or down stairs.
• Ability to work in a confined area for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Certificate or Restricted Multi-Engine Airline Pilot Certificate.
• Minimum of 1500 total flight hours.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Radio License.
• Previous FAR 121 experience is preferred but not required.
• 2000+ hours of total time is preferred.
• 1500 turbine (Jet) flight time is preferred.
• 1000 PIC turbine (Jet) flight time is preferred.
• For Military applicants with less than 2000 hours total time, Turbine and PIC experience are considered flexible.
