Job Overview: ATR 72 Captain (YVR Base)

KF Aerospace is actively recruiting Captains for its Vancouver (YVR) Base. A strong preference will be extended to candidates already qualified on the ATR 72, aligning with the company's strategic transition to a fleet predominantly comprised of ATR 72-500 aircraft. The anticipated training commencement for successful applicants is Autumn 2025.

This pivotal role offers exceptional job security, underpinned by an extended contract with Purolator for its British Columbia Feeder Service, contracted through 2035. The operational schedule involves weekday flights exclusively, connecting YVR with YYJ, YKA, YXS, and YLW, with all flights returning to YVR each evening.

Furthermore, this position is designed to promote an outstanding work-life balance. Pilots can anticipate most weekends and statutory holidays off, with a typical monthly flying schedule comprising 12-14 days.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
  • Group 1 Multi-Engine Instrument Ratings.
  • A minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Preference will be given to applicants possessing transport category turbine or turbojet experience.
  • A valid Canadian Passport or an authorized Canadian Work Permit.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Willingness and ability to travel and operate flights to the United States and other international destinations within the company's network.
  • No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted.
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19.
