Pilot, Executive Charter Operations (FAR Part 135)

The company is actively recruiting professional and experienced Airline Transport Pilots to join its distinguished flight operations team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional airmanship, professionalism, and dedication to customer service while executing complex domestic and international missions under rigorous FAR Part 135 regulations.

Type ratings are not a prerequisite, as comprehensive type-specific training will be provided to successful candidates.

Mandatory Candidate Qualifications

Candidates must meet or exceed the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulated requirements and company standards:

  • License Requirement: Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • Medical Certification: Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Total Flight Experience: A minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Experience: A minimum of 1,500 hours of PIC flight time.
  • Operational Record: A completely clean record is required, specifically free of any accidents, incidents, or enforcement actions in the last three years.
  • Required Documentation: Possession of an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR).
  • Travel and Residency: A current passport or the verified ability to obtain one within 90 days.

Logistical and Availability Standards

Due to the dynamic nature of executive charter operations, the successful applicant must adhere to the following strict scheduling and residency mandates:

  • The pilot must be able to work flexible and varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The candidate’s primary residence must permit them to report to work within two hours of receiving a dispatch call during assigned duty periods.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Desired Experience and Background

Candidates possessing the following highly desirable qualifications will receive priority consideration:

Flight Experience

  • A minimum of 500 hours of turbine flight time.
  • More than 250 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience in target aircraft platforms, including the Learjet 45/75, Embraer Phenom 100, or Pilatus PC-12.
  • Existing type rating in LR-45 or EMB-500 aircraft.
  • Significant prior experience operating within FAR Part 91 and/or Part 135 flight department environments.
  • Experience in international operations.

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an aviation- or business-related field.
