JetRight Seeks Challenger 350 Captain / Lead Captain
JetRight is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join its team as a Challenger 350 Captain / Lead Captain. This position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
About the Role:
The Captain acts as pilot-in-command of company aircraft, ensuring the safe, efficient, comfortable, and timely operation of flights as assigned by flight operations management. This individual will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism while consistently exceeding client expectations. The role necessitates excellent communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Operate company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and Operations Specifications.
- Exercise sound judgment in all aspects of flight operations, ensuring a safe and efficient journey for all passengers and crew.
- Actively contribute to the decision-making process regarding flight safety.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of current and anticipated flight environments, proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats or errors.
- Foster a collaborative cockpit environment through timely and effective communication, exchanging information, ideas, and instructions with crew members.
- Manage tasks effectively to optimize overall crew performance and promote teamwork.
- Lead and mentor junior crew members, fostering a culture of professionalism and safety.
- Successfully complete all required company and FAA proficiency checks and training courses.
- Represent JetRight in a positive and professional manner, upholding the company's image and values.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with an airplane multi-engine class rating and English Proficiency endorsement.
- 3,500 hours of total flight time.
- 1,500 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- 1,000 hours of turbine engine flight time.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR).
- Current FAA First Class medical certificate.
- US citizenship or proof of right to work in the US.
- Current passport or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
- Ability to report to work within two hours of a dispatch call during assigned duty periods.
- Minimum age of 23 years old.
- Clean safety record with no accidents, incidents, or enforcements in the last three years.
Preferred:
- CL-300 Type Rating.
- Experience in FAR Part 91/135 flight department operations.
- International operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in an aviation- or business-related field.
- Experience with Learjet 45/75 aircraft.

- Proactive mindset and ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
This position involves standing/walking for short distances (up to two hours) on hard surfaces, and sitting for extended periods (up to six hours). The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds routinely with or without reasonable accommodation. Duty periods are restricted to a maximum of 14 hours.
