JetBlue Airways is seeking a Supervisor of Inflight Operations based in Jamaica, NY. This role involves guiding, developing, and mentoring inflight crewmembers to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency while upholding rigorous safety standards. About the Role

Provide Gate/Onboard Support to Inflight crewmembers, including conducting crew briefings and debriefings.

Coach and mentor Inflight crewmembers, fostering engagement and supporting their professional growth through performance management and feedback.

Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, aligning with JetBlue's service standards.

Direct and guide Inflight crewmembers through operational challenges, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and accountability.

Partner with leadership to implement corrective action plans based on crewmember performance and dependability.

Ensure crewmember compliance with JetBlue's Appearance and Uniform Standards.

Educate crewmembers on company strategy and goals, supporting ancillary revenue targets through onboard product sales and promotions.

Provide compliance assistance and guidance on safety and regulatory requirements.

Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational challenges and on-time performance initiatives.

Conduct daily absence audits and review team dependability.

Engage in Leadership Flying to support operations during irregular operations, recognize crewmembers, and build frontline connections.
Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.

Three (3) years of customer service, sales, or airline experience, OR one (1) year of JetBlue Customer Experience (CEX) experience.

One (1) year of leadership or supervision experience, preferably in the airline industry.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Successful completion of JetBlue Airways Inflight Training Program.

Minimum age of twenty (20) years old.

Vision corrected to 20/20.

Ability to perform specific aircraft-related physical functions including walking the aisle, fitting through over wing exits, and sitting in a flight attendant jumpseat.

Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds from the floor to above the shoulders.
-
Ability to reach six feet three inches (6’3”) without shoes.

Ability to push and pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds.

Ability to perform safety functions, including door operation, overhead bin closure, use of galley/pantry carts, CPR, and retrieval/use of emergency equipment.

Availability for occasional overnight travel (30%) and company/industry meetings (10%).

Possession of a U.S. passport or foreign passport with required visas, with a minimum of twelve (12) months validity remaining.

Knowledge of basic computer and electronic tablet devices.

Ability to read and comprehend required manuals.

Adherence to JetBlue Inflight Crewmember Uniform Appearance Standards.

Ability to work effectively as a team.

Ability to work varying schedules including reserve duty, weekends, evenings, holidays, and last-minute drafting.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located; authorization to work in the US is required and this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
