G650 Captain - Hong Kong

Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced G650 Captain to join its Flight Services team based in Hong Kong. This is an exciting and rewarding role involving leading G650 aircraft operations with precision, ensuring the highest standards of safety and service. As part of an elite team operating the G650 fleet, the Captain provides exceptional experiences for clients while upholding the highest standards of flight safety and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the Captain is at the forefront of delivering world-class aviation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the Operations Manual FOM.
- Ensuring all crew members occupy their stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any crew member from performing activities during critical flight phases (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing) except those required for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Ensuring flight data and cockpit voice recorders are not disabled or erased unless data needs to be conserved for incident or accident investigation and would otherwise automatically be erased.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to obtain maximum airmanship for the conduct of the flight.
- Ensuring precise navigation and observation of minimum altitudes.
- Observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring the proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforcing the strict use of checklists.
- Ensuring that the amount of usable fuel remaining suffices to proceed to an airport where a safe landing can be made, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintaining close contact with the cabin crew to ensure all requirements concerning cabin safety are followed.
- Ensuring that the flight and technical logs are completed.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports if necessary.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the company.
- Complying with the regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) with type rating for G650 (FAA, UK, or EASA).
- Minimum 3,000 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours on G650 or similar jets.
- Experience as a Captain on a business jet is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, aviation regulations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in international flying and adverse weather conditions.
