G650 Captain - Singapore Based
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking experienced and highly motivated G650 Captains to join its Flight Services team in Singapore. The Captain will support aircraft operations, uphold the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures, ensure compliance with regulations, and deliver professional service to clients. The Captain reports to the Director of Flight Operations, specifically for the G650 fleet based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Ensures adherence to all operational procedures and checklists, as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verifies that all crew members are in their designated stations during takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibits crew members from performing any activity during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for duties essential to the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Prevents the disabling or erasure of flight data and/or cockpit voice recorders, unless data conservation is required for incident or accident investigation and would otherwise be automatically erased.
- Coordinates work distribution among the flight crew to maximize airmanship throughout the flight.
- Ensures precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observes the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensures the proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforces the strict use of checklists.
- Ensures sufficient usable fuel remains to proceed to an airport for a safe landing, maintaining final reserve fuel.
- Maintains close communication with the cabin crew to ensure cabin safety requirements are met.
- Ensures the completion of flight and technical logs.
- Files written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
- Maintains familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Maintains a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Complies with the regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensures all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current G650 type rating.
- Minimum of 500 hours on type.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore.
